Sunday's Schedule of Events

We have had a spectacular event so far and it gets even better today! Today we will crown the new Traditional Red World's Chili Champion and present them with a check for $25,000! We will also have a lot of fun contest where anyone in the crowd can participate: Miss Chili Pepper, Mister Hot Sauce, and Shoot-N-Holler. Today's events run from 11:00 to around 5:00 so come out and join us for some fun in the sun at the Tropicana on the Las Vegas strip!

10:30 - Opening Ceremony – National Anthem
11:00 - TRADITIONAL RED Chili Cooks - Start Your Fires - Music Begins
12:30 - Best Booth Decoration And Showmanship Judging Begins
1:00 - People’s Choice Chili Sampling Begins (NO SAMPLING BEFORE 1:00)
1:15 - TRADITIONAL RED Chili Judges Meeting At The Judging Tent
1:30 - Best Booth And Showmanship Judges Turn In Your Ballots To Scorekeepers
2:00 - TRADITIONAL RED Chili Cooks Turn In Cups For Judging - Judging Begins -
2:00 - Miss Chili Pepper Contest At The Stage
3:00 - Mister Hot Sauce Contest At The Stage
3:45 - Shoot-N-Holler Contest At The Stage (Winner By Spectator Applause)
4:30 - Announce Miss Chili Pepper, Mister Hot Sauce, Best Booth and Showmanship Winners At Stage
